Massive New Mixed-Use Logistics Hub Slated For Daytona Beach
A major mixed-use logistics development is in the works near Daytona Beach, bringing together warehouse, retail, and possibly other uses in one expansive project. The endeavor signals growing momentum in Florida’s commercial real estate and logistics sectors.
The proposed Florida Logistics Center is planned for South Williamson Boulevard in Daytona Beach. It’s being positioned as a large industrial asset, with space available for lease across multiple warehouse and distribution units.
The full development spans about 2,860,000 square feet on a 290-acre tract, making it one of the more significant industrial offerings in the region.
The project offers flexibility for tenants, with units ranging from as small as 33,000 square feet to massive, full-building occupancies of 1,029,000 square feet.
Because it’s designed to support distribution and logistics operations, much of the space is tailored for warehouse and fulfillment uses.
While logistics is at its core, the vision includes mixing in commercial and possibly retail components. This blending of industrial and commercial use is becoming more common as cities push for developments that stay active beyond standard business hours.
By introducing retail or office elements alongside the logistics component, the project can attract a wider array of tenants and help stimulate surrounding economic activity.
