Nuveen Real Estate Acquires Crossings At Viera Shopping Center For $46 Million
Nuveen Real Estate has added another Florida retail asset to its portfolio with the $46 million acquisition of Crossings at Viera Shopping Center in Rockledge.
The recently delivered shopping center, located at 2055 Viera Boulevard, totals 190,000 square feet and traded at approximately $242 per square foot.
SJC Ventures sold the property.
Crossings at Viera is anchored by Whole Foods Market and includes other tenants such as Miller’s Ale House. Separate parcels at the property are occupied by Panda Express and Home Depot, giving the center a mix of grocery, restaurant and big-box retail uses.
Mike Sales represented Nuveen Real Estate in the acquisition. The deal further expands Nuveen’s presence in the region’s retail sector as investors continue to target newly built, grocery-anchored centers with established national tenants.
