City Takes On Church For MLS Stadium Land
In a lawsuit filed May 20, the City of Orlando has filed to claim land needed for the future Major League Soccer stadium that’s currently occupied by a church.
The suit claims the city tried to offer the church $4 million for the land, but Faith Deliverance Temple’s owners wants $15 million.
The delays to agree on a deal for that land already have pushed the stadium’s opening back into the 2016 MLS season.
