Developer To Convert Former Supermarket Into Office, Add Residential Building

A developer wants city of Kissimmee incentives to help it convert a former Amigos Supermarket on Vine Street into office space and add housing on the property.

During the June 20 Kissimmee City Commission meeting, developer TRJCorley LLC asked the city for $147,826 through the Vine Street Community Redevelopment Agency Pioneer Project Incentive Program. The program provides funds to developers looking to undertake redevelopment that benefits the CRA. The outcome of that request is unknown as the meeting minutes have not yet been posted.

An entity connected to TRJCorley bought the 2.7-acre property at 4030 West Vine St. in 2021 for $3.15 million.

TRJCorley plans to convert the 15,120-square-foot, single-tenant building there into an office for the Social Security Administration. In addition, it wants to add a new 20-unit, market-rate apartment building at the site with two studio apartments plus six two-bedroom and 12 one-bedroom units.
