1.264 MSF Of Spec Industrial Coming To Orlando

Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm, announced an expanded vision for its Infinity Park project, a 206-acre, mixed-use business park located on John Young Parkway just north of State Road 528. In addition to new retail, hospitality, and office projects, Tavistock has partnered with McCraney Property Company, a leading private real estate development firm, to co-develop highly-designed distribution logistics facilities.

“Market demands for a variety of uses at Infinity Park’s ideal location makes this partnership with McCraney a natural progression for this project,” said Rasesh Thakkar, Senior Managing Director at Tavistock Group. “We look forward to working with McCraney, a like-minded private, entrepreneurial developer, to create a unique and innovative master-planned, mixed-use business park.”

The companies will co-develop more than 1,264,000 square feet of attractive and efficient distribution logistics buildings leveraging McCraney’s best-in-class product and Tavistock’s long-term vision for the property to create a forward-thinking development. Known for its distinctive design approach, McCraney will bring its unique perspective to this project ensuring the buildings reflect and enhance the surrounding area. Design specifics related to the exterior, landscaping, and color palette will all reflect more of a mixed-use environment where future tenants will benefit from the latest technology utilized within the space. Current plans call for the initial speculative light distribution and logistics product to begin construction by the end of 2018.

“The timing is right for development at the best located, undeveloped mixed-use location in the Metro Orlando MSA,” said Steven McCraney, President and CEO of McCraney Property Company. “At a time when the need for e-commerce and logistics space is driving demand, we are pleased to be partnering with the Tavistock team, collectively focused on the bringing this expansive project to fruition.”

In addition to the partnership with McCraney, future plans for Infinity Park include retail and hospitality developments in addition to existing and future Class A office buildings. The park will have approximately 50,000 square feet of retail space available fronting John Young Parkway and up to 500,000 square feet of commercial office building space available for build-to-suit and pre-lease opportunities. Infinity Park is one of the last contiguous urban parcels of its size in Orange County. Its prime location with easy highway access, direct connection to International Drive, and proximity to top employers including Lockheed Martin, Darden Restaurants, Universal Studios, and Starwood, make Infinity Park an ideal destination for mixed-use development. The business park is uniquely served by three separate and distinct power sub-stations for exceptionally diverse and stable power supply. Infinity Park recently welcomed Orange Lake Resorts in 2017 to an existing 113,000-square-foot office building and an adjacent 125,000-square-foot office building currently under construction for its new corporate campus. Once complete by the end of 2018, the two buildings will total more than 238,000 square feet of space and house nearly 2,100 employees. CBRE’s David Murphy and Monica Wonus have been selected as the leasing representatives for the distribution and logistics segment of Infinity Park. Tavistock Development Company’s John Pottinger and Scott Bell are representatives for the retail, hospitality, and office segments.
