Accounting Firm Relocates HQ From Winter Park To Citrus Center

Moore Stephens Lovelace will make the move in January to 11,000 square feet on the sixth floor of the Citrus Center, located at 255 S. Orange Ave. A smaller office with tech professionals will stay in its current Altamonte Springs location. The firm’s headquarters is currently located at Gateway Plaza, located at 1201 South Orlando Avenue in Winter Park. Leaders at the firm said being in downtown Orlando will aid their mission of being philanthropically involved in the community. Bill Miller, CEO of Moore Stephens Lovelace, said downtown Orlando is “the heart of the Central Florida business hub.” Farlen Halikman, shareholder-in-charge for the Orlando office, said “we are looking forward to becoming even more engaged with civic and philanthropic causes in the center of the region.” The 40-year-old firm was founded as Lovelace, Roby & Company. It changed its name in 1994 when it became an affiliate of the national accounting network Moore Stephens International. It also has offices in Miami, Clearwater, and Tallahassee. The accounting firm was named one of Orlando Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in June, 2014. Source: Orlando Sentinel ]]>
