CREC Picks Up 11 New Brokerage Assignments Totaling 924,000 SF
CREC has gained 11 new leasing and sales assignments across Central and North Florida, adding more than 924,000 square feet of leasable space to its growing portfolio. The new assignments come as transaction activity in Central Florida spikes, with more regional and national businesses and retailers growing and expanding. Based in CREC’s Orlando office, Josh Busby, Vice President, and Nathan Cutchin, Senior Leasing Associate, will lead leasing and sales efforts.

- Magic Place is a retail and residential mega center that will include infill retail space, outparcels and seven high-rise condos and time share residences on US Highway 192 in Kissimmee, FL. Situated in the Entertainment Capital of the World, Magic Place is close to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Seaworld Orlando and other attractions.
- Located at 6271 St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville, between University Boulevard and San Jose Boulevard, DuPont Station spans 87,099 square feet with three fully built-out restaurant spaces and a 19,982-square-foot former grocer space available for lease. The shopping center is just minutes from Interstate 95 within a residential neighborhood.
- World Golf Village is situated at 275-455 South Legacy Trail in St. Augustine on 2.52 acres in the city’s premiere tourist retail corridor and just five miles north of the intersection of Highway 16 and I-95. The 79,991-square-foot shopping center has four one-story and one two-story retail and office buildings. World Golf Village is home to The World Golf Hall of Fame, the St. Johns County Convention Center, Renaissance Resort, and two nationally acclaimed golf courses.
- The 92,180-square-foot Steeplechase Plaza at the Southwest corner of Highway 200 and 103rd Street in Ocala is home to main anchor tenants, including Save-A-Lot, Bealls Outlet and Ace Hardware. The center, which has 24,224 square feet of space available, is adjacent to Top of the World, a 13,000-acre residential community.
- The 73,619-square-foot shopping complex Homosassa Plaza is shadow anchored by Winn-Dixie, Tractor Supply and Farmers Home Furniture. The property has about 13,750 square feet of available space for lease. Located at 3826 South Suncoast Blvd. in Homosassa, FL, less than one mile from Homosassa Spring State Park.
- Semoran Plaza is situated at 675-757 South Semoran Blvd. in Orlando and has 89,523 square feet of recently remodeled space. National tenants include Family Dollar, CAC Florida Medical Center, Rent A Center and H&R Block and it has a 36,245-square-foot former grocery store space available.
- The 7,056-square-foot strip center Colonnial Shoppes at the corner of Colonial Drive and Maguire Boulevard, across from Fashion Square Mall. The center at 3122 E. Colonial Drive houses retailers such as Orlando Jewelers, Jet’s Pizza, uBreakiFix and Kabooki Sushi.
- The new development will consist of a 170,000-square-foot shopping center, Malabar Commons, at the northeast corner of Malabar Road and Babcock Street in Palm Bay, FL. Available spaces include anchor, small shops and outparcel spaces in a dense residential neighborhood.
- Built in 2001, Former Rec Warehouse is a 14,400-square-foot, bank-owned warehouse sitting on 1.61 acres at 8134 North US Highway 98 in Lakeland, FL. The property is for sale at a price of $649,000 and has showroom and warehouse space with one loading dock and one roll-up loading area. The warehouse is one mile from Northside Village, which is poised to become the premier multi-use development on Lakeland’s north side.
- Heritage Plaza is a 40,000-square-foot class A office building with on-site parking at 225 East Lemon St. in Lakeland, FL. Located in the heart of the downtown retail and commercial district, it is within walking distance to government offices, restaurants, banks, shopping and other amenities. Tenants include Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Hancock Bank, and Peterson & Myers.
- Oakridge Office Park consists of three one-story buildings and a seven-story office tower totaling 270,275 square feet located at 1500 W. Oakridge Road in Orlando. The property has 170,368 square feet of office space available for leasing and offers a competitive parking ratio of seven spaces per 1,000 square feet.
