Crossman & Company Brokers $15.4 Million Retail Sale In Orange City

Crossman & Company negotiated the sale of Orange City Marketplace, a 172,079 square-foot grocery-anchored retail center in Orange City.

The Property sold for $15,400,000.

“Orange City Marketplace held up well during the pandemic and this transaction illustrates that multi-tenant deals can still get done even in this environment,” stated Brian Carolan, managing director in Crossman & Company’s Orlando office.

Orange City Marketplace is located at 816 Saxon Boulevard. The center benefits from being in proximity (1.25 miles) to Interstate 4 and its 112,000 average vehicles per day. This approximate two-minute drive results in additional patrons to Orange City Marketplace. Orange City Marketplace is anchored by Orange City Racing & Card Club, Planet Fitness and Dollar General. The center also includes other national and local tenants.

“The Buyer and Seller showed tremendous resilience in getting this transaction closed in what has been a challenging year for the retail industry,” noted Carolan.

Carolan, managing director in Crossman & Company’s Orlando office negotiated the sale on behalf of central Florida real estate veterans Scott Crossman and Daryl Carter.
