Cushman & Wakefield Arranges $3.15M Sale Of 3.48-Acre Land Parcel
Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $3.15 million sale of a 3.48-acre land parcel located at the intersection of International Drive South and Daryl Carter Parkway in Orlando. Andy Slowik and Margery Johnson of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, a private investment group that had owned the property since 2001. Dallas-based Sun Holdings, which specializes in fast food restaurant development, acquired the parcel to develop a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
The Orlando land team has sold numerous sites along International Drive, including an adjacent parcel, which is being developed with a cube self-storage facility, and the 20-acre site of the new K-8 school further south on I-Drive. Approximately 400 acres remain available for development along I-Drive, which extends south into Osceola County.“With more than 5,000 apartment units in the immediate area and a prime location in the heart of Orlando’s tourism corridor, this property is prime for this sort of development,” Slowik said.
“We anticipate further growth in this submarket as it serves both tourists and locals,” Johnson added.
