Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Ports Practice To East Coast

Panama Colon Container Port (PCCP), a $600 million container terminal soon to break ground at the Atlantic entrance of the Panama Canal.  Last year it announced its role as advisor to Florida Inland Port, the state’s first rail-oriented, integrated logistics center. Florida is the gateway to the Eastern Seaboard and an important market for not only the port practice, but for Jones Lang LaSalle clients as a whole, said Carver. We expect to see an increasing focus on the state in the next decade as port and inland port business builds within Florida, and investors continue to eye its buoyant real estate market. John Carver will be based in Jones Lang LaSalle’s downtown Miami office at 1221 Brickell.]]>
