Konover South Closes $3,279,000 Land Purchase

Konover South, LLC  closed on a $3,279,000 land purchase for its new 62,222-square-foot grocery-anchored Landstar Marketplace in Orlando that will offer a 43,865-square-foot Walmart Neighborhood Market and more. Consisting of 18 prime acres located at the southeast corner of Central Florida GreeneWay (SR 417) and Landstar Boulevard, the center will also include 18,357-square-feet of inline retail plus four outparcels available for lease.

Bob Bedard, Senior Vice President of Development for Deerfield Beach-based Konover South, stated “We are excited to be part of Walmart Neighborhood Market’s continuing expansion in Central Florida, as well as to bring a great new neighborhood center to Orlando.”

Construction is slated to commence this spring and openings are set for first quarter 2018, Bedard added. The center, located at 13891 Landstar Boulevard, is across the street from a Publix-anchored center in an area of new and planned residential developments. The sellers were Rodolfo Stern and David Serviansky, and the broker for the land sale was Steve DeWitt with Shorecrest Retail Partners. David Lipp with Delray Beach-based Atlantic Commercial Group, represented Walmart Neighborhood Market in its long-term lease.
