Wawa Leases 1.78-Acre Site In Orlando’s ‘Destination’ Corridor

LandQwest Commercial secured a new Wawa lease in Orlando’s bustling tourist area at the northwest corner of South John Young and Destination Parkway.

The convenience and gas station giant signed a 20-year agreement with Orlando NRG, LLC to provide locals and visitors with a high-quality c-store and dining experience.

“This is a major site selection win for Wawa, and very welcomed addition for the 70,500 daily vehicles passing the site,” said LandQwest Senior Associate Eva Royal. “Wawa’s position in the heart of ‘Destination’ will capture major attractions and hospitality offerings coming to this corridor.”

“We are proud to welcome a respected brand like Wawa and negotiate the best terms for both parties,” said LandQwest Orlando Founding Principal, Julia Sosa. “This will provide a much-needed service to the area’s tourists and residents, and we are confident it will be a huge success.”

Wawa will feature its signature made-to-order hoagies, freshly brewed coffee, smoothies and more after it breaks ground on the 1.78-acre site in the Summer of 2023.

Royal and Sosa represented the landlord in the transaction. Wood Belcher with CBRE represented the tenant.
