Cortland Purchases Champions Gate Apartment Site In Orlando For $5.35 Million

The Land Advisors Organization’s Orlando team of Mike Ripley and Steve Flanagan, acting as a transaction broker, arranged the $5.35 million sale of the 17-acre parcel at the northeast corner of Masters Boulevard and Goodman Road in Osceola County to El Mirasol FL Partners LLC.

The Buyer is an affiliate of Cortland, the Atlanta-based developer of luxury multifamily communities, who is planning the development of El Mirasol, a 355-unit apartment community adjacent to Champions Gate, a 1500-acre luxury community. The Seller was Profusion Cap5 Champions Gate, LLC.

Champions Gate is located in the ”four corners” area of Osceola County, approximately 25 miles southwest of the Orlando CBD and 5 miles from Disney World.

“Cortland is an outstanding developer and clearly sees the opportunity that exists for developing luxury apartments in this growing area,” said Ripley.

The sale closed Thursday, July 1 and Cortland plans to begin development of El Mirasol immediately.
