Orlando REALTOR To Be Installed As 2017 President Of Worldwide CRE Organization

Robin Webb with NAI Realvest has been announced as incoming president of the CCIM Institute.  

“Having an Orlando REALTOR® in such a position of influence within the CCIM Institute indicates that Orlando’s commercial real estate industry is vibrant and sophisticated,” says 2017 ORRA President-elect Lou Nimkoff, Brio Real Estate Services. “Our city has the space, facilities, infrastructure, and practitioners able to serve the largest corporations seeking to locate their business operations in the Orlando area.”

Webb has a wide range of involvement with the CCIM Institute, having serving as treasurer, Florida CCIM Chapter president, regional vice president, presidential liaison. Webb has also had extensive involvement with the CCIM Foundation and most recently served as 2014 president. The upcoming year will not be the first that Orlando has enjoyed strong representation within the CCIM Institute. In 2016,Orlando REALTORS® have served in three key leadership positions, unprecedented in CCIM Institute history:

• President: Steven Moreira, Magic Property and Inv;
• President-elect: Robin Webb, NAR Realvest; and
• Treasurer: Lou Nimkoff, Brio Real Estate Services LLC.

Moreira is a past president of ORRA, while Nimkoff is ORRA’s current treasurer in addition to its 2017 president-elect. He will automatically ascend to the president’s position in 2018. On the state level, ORRA member Chere Roane with Nicole-Hudson Realty Corp, currently serves as 2016 president of the CCIM Florida Chapter.  

“ORRA clearly plays a significant role in fostering commercial real estate leadership through its support of members who participate in this side of the business,” continues Nimkoff. “For example, the association administers a special interest group with regular networking and educational events that address commercial topics. The more than 400-plus members of ORRA’s Orlando Regional Commercial Council now make up the largest commercial REALTOR® group in Central Florida.”
