Publix-Anchored 116,000SF Orlando Shopping Center Changes Hands

Transwestern’s Southeast Investment Services Group announced it represented the seller in the disposition of Winter Springs Town Center in Winter Springs, just north of Orlando. An affiliate of Dallas-based Tabani Group aquired the 115,807-square-foot property for an undisclosed price. Transwestern’s John F. Bell, managing director, advised the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Located at 1160 E. State Route 434, the asset was built in 2002. Currently 75 percent leased, the center’s largest tenants include Publix and Zoo Health Club. The property offers several immediate opportunities for additional occupancy with several turnkey restaurants amongst the current vacancies.

“This high-quality center attracted significant investor interest from across the country,” said Bell. “The seller’s strategic repositioning of the center allowed maximum pricing for the asset, yet offers upside to the buyer through lease-up of vacant space in a tightening market.”

The eight-building center includes a two-story office component. The asset also serves as the centerpiece and focal point of the mixed-use Town Center District of Winter Springs.
