CNL Commercial Real Estate Expands Industrial Platform

CNL Commercial Real Estate has hired industrial veteran Justin Ruby to help grow its industrial platform in Florida. Ruby has 13 years of real estate experience in leasing and marketing and has recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Orlando to lead CNL Commercial Real Estate’s industrial brokerage platform. Ruby will partner with industry expert, Moses Salcido, who joined the firm last year; together, they will be the forefront for one of CNL Commercial Real Estate’s newest industrial clients, L&B Realty Advisors. The L&B portfolio is comprised of four institutional quality, cross-dock industrial buildings totaling 947,122 square feet located in Orlando Central Park, the city’s prime industrial corridor, Ruby will spearhead leasing the remaining space available, emphasizing the property’s ideal location and using a unique marketing approach to attract potential tenants. “We are thrilled that somebody of Justin’s talent was drawn to the CNL Commercial Real Estate platform. In addition to his strong background in real estate, he is a great cultural fit to partner with Moses to build out our industrial platform,” said Paul Ellis, group president of CNL Commercial Real Estate. Ruby brings his knowledge and expertise from Texas, where prior to joining CNL Commercial Real Estate, he was vice president at Verde Realty, managing its 2.5 million-square-foot industrial and 20,000-acre land portfolio in the Southwest. Originally from Orlando, he started his real estate career with Centex Destination Properties, where he rose to director of sales and marketing. Throughout his career, Ruby has executed more than $435 million in real estate transactions and leased more than two million square feet. “I’m grateful for my time with Verde Realty in Texas, however I am most excited about returning home to build a business and raise my family in Central Florida,” Ruby said.  ]]>
